Elztec Water fully automatic sand filtration systems physically purify suspended solids, sediment, and turbidity in water thanks to its multi-layered mineral bed (multimedia). While improving water quality, it protects other sensitive treatment equipment in your system against clogging.
Product Description
Automatic multimedia sand filters consist of layers of gravel, quartz sand, and anthracite of different sizes from the bottom up in the tank. As the water filters down through these layers, sediment, particles, and suspended solids in it are retained in the filter bed (up to 20 microns). Thus, the turbidity of the water is removed, providing a clear and clean appearance.
System automation is provided by time or flow-controlled automatic valves. Impurities that accumulate in the filter bed and impede the passage of water are discharged to the drain through the backwash process performed automatically by the system at your specified periods, which fluffs the bed. In this way, the efficiency of the filter is constantly maintained at the highest level, and no human intervention to the system is required.
